Mingze Sun

About Me

I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at Tsinghua University, specializing in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. I am fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Ruqi Huang at the Shenzhen International Graduate School.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Statistics from East China Normal University in 2022. I was awarded the National Scholarship at Tsinghua University consecutively in 2024 and 2025. I am pleased to be working as a visiting student with Prof. Ziwei Liu at MMLab@NTU from 2026.

My current research interests center around Rigging, Animation, and Embodied AI. Starting this year, I will devote my research efforts to embodied intelligence, including robotic manipulation and vision-language-action (VLA) modeling. My goal is to develop general-purpose motion foundation models for real-world applications in gaming and embodied AI systems.
